WebGUI Overview

WebGUI is a browser-based operational interface for VNetArmor. It connects to Managerd and provides status, events, logs, and configuration workflows.

Typical users

  • Operations engineers.
  • Security engineers.
  • Support engineers.
  • Platform administrators.

WebGUI does not process application traffic

WebGUI is a management interface. Customer traffic flows through Core, not WebGUI.

  • Place WebGUI on a private management network.
  • Require authentication.
  • Use TLS.
  • Restrict access to approved operators.
  • Avoid exposing WebGUI directly to the public internet.
