VNetArmor Technical Documentation

This documentation is for customers, deployment engineers, support teams, and operations teams deploying VNetArmor in their own environment.

The examples use generic hostnames such as www.example.com, api.example.com, core01.example.local, and manager01.example.local. Replace these with your own approved hostnames, domains, certificates, and IP ranges.

Components

Component Purpose
Core Reverse proxy, routing, traffic protection, WAF, rate limiting, GEO, L4 ACL, logging, and backend forwarding.
Managerd Management service that connects to Core, exposes administrative APIs, supports mTLS, and enables CLI and UI operations.
GUI Desktop administration client for operators who manage servers from a workstation.
WebGUI Browser-based operational dashboard for status, policy management, logs, events, and configuration workflows.
Portal Customer downloads, licensing, entitlement, update visibility, and support access.
